The thread rolling productivity is high, but the processing accuracy is low, and it is suitable for processing screws with a diameter of less than 20 mm. The surface of the rolling wheel is made with multiple threads, and the threads on the two rollers are opposite to the thread of the workpiece, and the thread lift angle on the pitch diameter of the roller is equal to the thread lift angle on the pitch diameter of the workpiece. In order to enhance the rigidity of the mandrel and increase the life of the thread rolling wheel, the diameter of the thread rolling wheel must be increased, so the thread rolling wheel is made of multiple threads. The number of lines n=D2/d2=s/t, where D2 is the pitch diameter of the thread rolling wheel; d2 is the pitch diameter of the workpiece thread; s is the thread lead of the thread rolling wheel; t is the thread pitch of the workpiece. The structure of the automatic opening and closing thread rolling head is similar to that of the automatic opening and closing thread cutting head. When the rolling thread reaches a predetermined length, the three rollers can automatically open, and the rolling head can quickly retract. Slotless extrusion taps are formed by plastic deformation of the metal when the hole wall is extruded.
